Kevin's Song of the Morning was recorded in1990 by the United Co - op Band on an LP titled Golden Brass and is in the style of a pastorale. This version for any Bb instrument and piano is a transciption of the brass band version . The piece was one of his earlier compositions written when he was still living at home, where, if you opened a window you could hear the bells of St. Mary's chiming the hour. You will hear the bell chimes as the piece progresses.
