An original chamber piece for 3 unaccompanied cornets, Written for Andy, Fiona and Rory Rolfe. A three note motif opens the piece to which all the piece alludes to either in different moods, tonality or periods of music. The first section is quite modern and atonal. The expressivo is a classical / romantic melody. The third section is a baroque style fugue. At 84 the classical theme returns in a broader feeling followed by a codetta at 95 with ideas from the first  and fugue sections.
