New Year, New Arrangement

Our first publication for 2024is an arrangement by Kevin of "Nola" by Felix Ardent, a novelty piano piece for Xylophone and Brass Band.

Felix Arndt was born on May 20th in 1889 and died tragically during the flu epidemic on October 16th 1918. He was an American pianist and composer who lived and worked in New York.

He is best remembered for his 1915 composition "Nola," written as an engagement gift to his fiancée (and later wife), Nola Locke.
