Today we have released Kevin's arrangement of Down By The Salley Gardens. This Irish Folk melody has been arranged as a Trombone Solo with Brass Band.  The original melody was known as" The Maid of Mourne Shore" and the lyrics are a text dating back to 1889 by poet William Butler Yeats.

Down by the sally gardens my love and I did meet She passed the sally gardens with little snow-white feet She bid me to take love easy as the leaves grow on the trees But I being young and foolish with her would not agree

Today's new release is a concert band version of Kevin's original concert opener, Processional.

Processional is one of Kevin's little known pieces written in 2003 and first performed as the opening piece for Audley Brass at the Rhyl Festival of Brass. This Concert Band version was created by Nick for Nantwich Concert Band in 2019.

Three Etudes for Brass Quartet

Kevin has arranged three piano etudes for a standard brass band quartet.

They are part of the German pianist and composer Friedrich Burgmullers 25 Etudes op100.

The etudes are a set of children's pieces which Kevin remembers working on as a child.
