Originally written by Stockholm born composer Wilhelm Stenhammar in 1895. Stenhammar was the former Musical Director of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and wrote a variety of works including two Symphonies, six string quartets and two operas. This arrangement was written for the Slidin’ About Trombone Quartet in 2016.

"I Once Was Lost" is set of variations on Amazing Grace with the title is taken from the hymn. The piece sums up Kevin's journey from singing in the Choir and being Assistant Organist at St. Mary's Church, Sandbach as a youngster, playing and conducting Brass Bands, and returning to St. Mary's in 2011.

Our Latest Release

Today we have released Kevin's feature for tenor horn, lower brass and percussion. It was first performed in 2007 by what is now known as the TCTC Group Band.
